About the Founder
Iñigo completed his primary and secondary school at La Salle Green Hills (LSGH) and earned a Bachelor's Degree in International Studies with a Major in Japanese Studies from De La Salle University, Manila (DLSU-M).
He looks forward to establishing a career in the financial services industry or a related industry that nurtures his interest in numbers. A Japanese company would be of special interest to him because he wishes to practice his Japanese, for which he has received an N5 Proficiency Level Certification from the Japanese Government through the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES) for passing the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) in July 2023.
In line with his intention to join the financial sector, he took on internships in PriceWaterhouseCoopers Business Services Philippines (PwC BSP) and Asia United Bank (AUB). These on-the-job trainings provided him the chance to experience first-hand the workings inside a financial institution.
Career Summary
Iñigo is a Japanese Studies graduate trained in cultural literacy and interdisciplinary analysis, and thus, he has the ability to navigate diverse cultural environments and thrive in multicultural settings. He can speak, read and write basic Japanese, has good research capabilities, and demonstrates a keen attention to detail, making him fully prepared to pursue a career in business, education, international relations, translation, and other related fields.
Soon after his internships in Asia United Bank and PriceWaterhouseCoopers, he pursued a career in the financial services industry and is now working in one of the biggest financial services & accounting companies in the Philippines while continuing to attend Japanese Language classes in the University of the Philippines' Linguistics Department.
Professional Experience
- Prepared a proposal to improve HelloMoney’s product specifications.
- Assisted the Product Managers with daily tasks such as reviewing documents, supporting AUB’s daily operations, ensuring the completeness and good condition of company merchandise items, and generating demonstration videos for the bank’s official electronic wallet, HelloMoney.
- Facilitated roll-forwarding transactions under an associate’s supervision.
- Conducted industry research on selected PwC clients.
