Iñigo was a member of the Society of Math Students (SMS), a student-led organization under the school's Mathematics Department, throughout his high school days at La Salle Green Hills (LSGH). Unlike other Math clubs that are purely academic in nature, SMS used to be responsible for holding its annual outreach program that aimed to uplift children's lives and their passion for the world of Mathematics. We, SMS members and moderators, were responsible for donating Math-related items such as flashcards. Its target beneficiaries were children from the Santo Domingo Church in Quezon City and the Our Lady of Banneux of the Answering the Cry of the Poor (ANCOP) in San Mateo, Rizal Province. He participated in these outreaches in these venues in 2017 and 2019, respectively.

SMS used to host its very own Annual Girls Interscholastic Math Competition (AGIMC) as a way to promote Mathematics to the entire school community and, more importantly, to foster knowledge and fair competition among female student-participants from other schools.         In January 2019, Iñigo was fortunate enough to be part of the festivities as a closing remarks speaker.
